Out of thousands of anime I rarely ever watch the opening and ending. Out of all the Donghua up till now the number was zero. Especially considering how horrible the singing is. But this one...I actually like to watch and listen to both the opening and ending theme.

For those who may not remember, when he 1st joined the Yellow Maple Valley sect, he saved her from being "date-raped" and the guy she thought was legit had drugged her with an aphrodisiac. Our cautious mc did not take advantage of her. Instead he knocked her out and detoxified the aphrodisiac poison.

This time, as to why he fed her the "forgetting dust pills"? Because he is extremely cautious. He has several reasons.

First, he does not want to obey the order to go directly to the front lines. Instead, he wants to prioritize his cultivation and since he is nearly able to break through to mid-stage Foundation Establishment level before going back. This is so he can have a better chance of staying alive.

Second, he wants the girl to forget everything about the past couple of days. Even though she doesn't know much of anything about Han Li's secrets, he feels one can't be too careful. For example, if the two of them are the only survivors and they go back and tell their superiors about the mine, then they would be suspected of perhaps pilfering some of the spiritual stones, which are far more valuable than gold. They would most definitely check Han Li's storage pouches. Not only would they find his vast wealth in stolen spiritual stones, but also find all of his looted magic weapons. Since they did belong to several important people, then their disappearance (deaths) might be attributed to Han Li. He would become a murder suspect.

Since we know how cautious Han Li is, he would never allow this. That is why he did what he did.

Lastly, he wants to conceal the existence of the spiritual stones mine completely, even though the Devil Sects now occupy it, because he wants to conceal the teleportation array which he hid behind a collapsed tunnel. That way he could potentially return in the future as this teleportation array might be a way to escape the entire area if they lose the war against the Devil Path alliance.

Both excellent shows and I watch them both and just now re-checked the themes and you are right, they are not bad. But for me almost all anime and donghua op & ed are a waste of time. I just skip them. Probably skipping many that others actually do enjoy. 99.99% of the time I just don't like them. But I really do like this one. Oh, and lest I forget, the opening theme for Jobless Reincarnation is beautiful. That entire anime is a master piece. Of course for music, nothing beats Cowboy Bebop. Still on the top, for 3 decades.

yea for me i listen to each ep and ed once if it catches my ear i tend to listen to it more than once thou even if i like set song i tend to skip it after a few ep just to save time if im bench watching or im too eager to see the new ep in a new season who has the time to listen and be spoiled by the op to whats to come when you have an ep to watch am i right ^_^

Lol I usually skip most of them too, especially if I listened once already. But theres definitely some I listened to that caught my attention, but even then I'll probably skip it or if it's an ED let it play out. I've went to yutube to listen to the really good ones in Demon Slayer last season ED, Vinland Saga ED, Aldnoah.Zero "aLIEz" song, Re:Zero S02 episodes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13 + other ones.

yeah same I usually skip most openings and endings. Yet one I really did like for season one and 2 was Kekkai Sensen openings. it's a Japanese anime it's really different from the normal generic Japanese anime. So it's an acquired taste don't know if you have watched it. but yeah cowboy bebop definitely one of my top ten anime in general though not a big fan of the opening song. I also am a huge fan of Jobless Reincarnation love that anime definitely give it an 8/10. I would say it's a master piece in this day and age. When most Japanese anime are generic copy and paste stories with a couple of things that they put different to make it look different. Also some power tweaks here and there lmao and they slap it together and call it an original anime. Like you just stole someone else's story and powers and changed a few things like wtf. so yes definitely a breath of fresh air. Another great one I would rate 8/10 for Japanese anime Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru.

Its famous because there is pretty decent original music in every single episode, written precisely for the anime. I can't speak to the OP & ED for Bebop precisely, I actually don't remember them.

Yes of course but in xianxia cultivation worlds, even self-defense is a crime if you kill someone powerful. Imagine you are a traveller...in today's world, you fly to another country and get into an argument with some drunken idiot in a bar. He fights you and loses. Then his bodyguards try to get you but you go banannas and beat them up with a chair. The drunk idiot tries to shoot you but misses and then you somehow manage to smash his brains in with the chair. The whole barfight got blown out of proportion and you likely have a pretty good case for self-defense...except the guy you killed was the son of the president of that country. There will be no justice for you. They will capture you. Take you to kangeroo court, find you guilty and then execute you. Or they may even just execute you first and dispense with the trial. That is sort of what it could be like in these kinds of stories.

Also, it is a truism in Chinese cultivation stories (and maybe even in Chinese culture), it is a truism that merely having a treasure can be a crime if you lack the power to protect that treasure. Therefore Han Li, a wily and experienced and very cautious fellow, would NEVER expose to anyone that he has treasure. Especially if that treasure could be considered as very valuable to people whose cultivation level is much higher than his own.

even today if a nobody kills a son of a high profile billionaire you think the public wont accuse him of being a monster or the government wont push his sentence far n beyond ..? lets be real...power beats any and all cultural ethics and rules

Yep. How much of a drug addled, evil degenerate is Hunter Biden? I think we all know. If you bumped into him at ...say a strip club ...and he was being a drunken idiot and the scenario I pointed out above were to happen...there would be no saving you. Regardless of whose fault it was.

Try watching the opening to Heaven official's blessing. The song and the video itself are just gorgeous.

I was really hoping to hear some amazing songs from: Mo Dao Zu Shi cuz the drama's soundtrack was amazing. Sadly the donghua was a let down in comparison. This is fantastic, wonder why it wasn't as popular.

I can just barely understand where he's coming from when it comes to his caulous interactions with mortals... but the way he's treating this girl is super shitty... though tbh in the comic, I've often wondered if after he made it with the masked moon elder he developed a hatred for women since he will bolt like a shot in the dark if he detects the slightest interest in him from a woman. In the comic he comes off as a major asshole most of the time. here he's a bit more sympathetic and just seems more like an ultra cautious coward.

Can't blame him though... Our mc is weak.... He can't protect those that he loved with his cultivation right now.... Not to mention his cultivation speed is so slow than those with true spiritual roots.. That's why he rejected every girl that show any interest towards him...

I really fucking love this show I'm so glad that this was so popular that they put so much effort into this. I never read the novel, but this show is so good, that even after the 1st season, I still decided to not read it, and just wait for this to come out.
